Hey there, hi there, ho there, Tamsen, and welcome to planDisney!
Magic is waiting just around the riverbend, and you are in for the best time at the Disneyland Resort! As with any journey, you need your gear, and the first thing you need for an adventure at the Happiest Place on Earth is a
theme park ticket. Let’s dive into your options.
While there are no official payment plan options for standalone park tickets, there are two options that you can consider:
- Book a Vacation Package: When you book a Disneyland Resort vacation package, you can reserve tickets and a hotel stay with a $200 refundable deposit. From there, you’ll have time to make payments (of any amount) up until the final balance is due, which is typically 30 days before you arrive. Great news is that there are packages for all budgets! The Good Neighbor Hotel packages allow you to stay at a nearby hotel for a reasonable price. My family and I love Hotel Lulu, which is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Disneyland entrance!
- Use a Disney Chase Visa Card: You can charge your ticket purchase directly on the card and pay over time. There are also plenty of benefits that you can enjoy with this card during your vacation!
Bonus Tip: If you are strongly considering the Chase Visa card option, Disney recently announced the
Inspire card. The current
welcome offer, which includes a $300 Disney Gift Card eGift, is fantastic and can actually help reduce the cost of your entire vacation. Upon approval, you will immediately receive the gift card. You can use it to reduce your ticket purchase price or use it during your park day. We took advantage of this offer and enjoyed not one, but two
Sip and Savor passes during a Disney California Adventure festival. The upcoming
Food and Wine Festival would be a perfect opportunity to make the most of this perk!
Tamsen, I hope this information was helpful and that you have the most wonderful time during your upcoming visit to Disneyland. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and see us again here at planDisney.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
