I have a 4 ticket park for my upcoming visit. I am nervous that I need to make day reservations because I keep seeing that but I thought reservations were eliminated in January.

Hey Howdy Hey Avise and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about Theme Park Reservations. You are correct that this process has changed this year but let's review which tickets would need reservations so you can better prepare for your trip.

Earlier this year, Disney updated their policy for Theme Park Reservations. Currently, date-based tickets do not need reservations to get into the parks. These tickets are most common when purchasing tickets online through the Walt Disney World website as well as with vacation packages. Special tickets such as with events may need reservations as well as Annual Passholders. If you purchased your tickets as part of a package, you should be all set and a reservation will not be needed.

This summer is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. There have been so many new attractions that have opened recently such as Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in EPCOT. Disney Dreams that Soar presented by AT&T is another new addition to a nighttime show in Disney Springs. This will happen nightly, weather permitting, when 800 drones light up the sky with all of our favorite Disney characters. This show is truly amazing and worth a trip over to Disney Springs to check out!

I hope you and your party have a Magical vacation and if you have any further questions, please let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
