If you have a ticket with a park hopper option, do you have to make your reservation at Epcot to be able to attend the food and wine festival?

    Hi, Jamie! Welcome to planDisney!

You're just days away from the magic! Are you already thinking about some of the amazing tastes you'd like to try at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? It's my absolute favorite EPCOT Festival, so I'm happy to help you plan your day sampling the wares around the World!

Jamie, adding the Park Hopper Option to your tickets gives you about a billion ways to enjoy your Disney day (let's see...carry the 1...yep, it's a billion, all right!). If you're planning to visit a different theme park to start your day and then hop to EPCOT after 2 p.m., you won't need an additional Disney Park Pass reservation. Just make your reservation for the first park you want to visit and be sure to go to that park. When park hopping hours kick off later in the afternoon, you can head to EPCOT and start your culinary tour without worrying about a second reservation. In fact, if you want to visit all four theme parks in one day, you still only need one reservation! As long as the subsequent parks aren't at capacity (and it's been exceedingly rare for that to happen), you're in!

It's almost go time, Jamie! I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, and please do come see us again if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
