Hey there, Neely!
Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney! It's great to hear you're planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. I'm excited for you and your husband that you're getting ready for your great, big, beautiful tomorrow. I'll bet you're ready for it to begin already!
Thanks for your question about assigning theme park tickets. I'll share how I think you should expect it to work for you based on my own experience as a Guest.
After you have purchased your theme park tickets and linked them to your account in the My Disney Experience section of your Disney account, your tickets should be displayed in the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" area under the "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab. Next to each ticket to the right, you should see an option to
reassign a ticket to another member of your vacationing party who is listed in your
Family & Friends list. In your case, you should be able to reassign one of the tickets to your husband. If your husband is not already listed in your Family and Friends list, you can easily add him.
Did you know you can make a theme park reservation for both yourself and your husband? When you use the
Disney Park Pass system to make a theme park reservation, you should see a prompt to "Create Your Party" where you can select another person from your party to include in your reservation -- in this case, your husband. So long as you and your husband have the same type of theme park admission, you should be able to make a reservation for the both of you.
Making theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system is quick and super easy, and if you need any additional assistance you can reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort Internet Help Desk team at (407) 939-7765. They can assist you with any specific questions about the My Disney Experience features for reassigning tickets and making theme park reservations.
Neely, here's wishing you and your husband a fun and fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have any planning questions or are looking for tips and recommendations, please do come back and ask us here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help by sharing our own Disney vacation experiences.
