If I have a ticket for MNSSHP (but not a ticket/reservation for MK prior to the party), will I be able to use Genie + to book rides from 4-7 on party day? Thank you!

    Boo to you, Rebecca!

Welcome to planDisney, the spookiest place on the internet! I am so excited that you stopped by to ask us your planning question today, and I cannot wait for you to experience all that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party has to offer. What could be better than trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park and watching Halloween fireworks? I know I am thrilled that the Halloween parties are finally coming back.

In the past, Guests were not able to use FastPasses during the Halloween parties as these were special after-hours events with limited capacity. While it was announced recently that the Halloween parties are returning to the Magic Kingdom Park, whether Disney Genie+ will be available during those hours has not yet been confirmed. I also reached out to a Cast Member via chat through the Help Center online, and they confirmed that we do not know that information quite yet. In this case, I would highly recommend keeping an eye on Disney Parks Blog or the Walt Disney World Resort website as we get closer to the Halloween season. I expect that more information will be released throughout the upcoming months, as that is typically what happens when new events are announced.

Now, let's talk about all the spooky fun you will be able to experience this upcoming Halloween season! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be returning to the Magic Kingdom Park starting on August 12th, 2022, along with some of our favourite offerings. I cannot wait to watch the "Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade" go down Main Street USA again, led by the Headless Horseman in the spookiest ambience. Also, I highly recommend grabbing a spot in front of Cinderella Castle to watch the “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks and welcome the Sanderson Sisters back after 300 years, right down to the day! Be careful, however, as they might just put a spell on you that'll make you dance all night. Lastly, the trick-or-treating fun doesn't have to stop at the treat locations! Make sure to check out our recommendations for delicious treats to try around the Resort, and be on the lookout for the special Halloween treats available at that time of year.

I hope this didn't scare you prematurely, as the real chills come later! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. Much like grim grinning ghosts, we always love to come out and socialize.

    Have a spooktacular day,
