Hey there, Carlie!
Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope your trip is coming up soon. This is an amazing year to visit.
The World's Most Magical Celebration is still going strong. There are Beacons of Magic, new nighttime spectaculars, and
traditional Character Greetings that have recently returned!
I recommend creating a
My Disney Experience account to get started if you do not already have one. Once you have an account, the ticket can easily be
linked to you in a few easy steps. The first option is the Guest that purchased the ticket can assign it to you through their My Disney Experience account. If the tickets are already on their account, you can
link your profiles to plan together. Then the Guest
can "assign" the ticket to you. This is done through My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website. Under the
My Plans option will be a Tickets & Memory Maker tab. The Guest who made the original purchase can select the ticket to add to your account and choose the reassign option. You can also complete this process through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. The Guest with the tickets will select the Tickets and Passes tile to view all tickets linked to their account. Then they will choose your ticket and reassign it to you.
If the tickets were a purchase intended for you, and are not currently linked to any Guest account, you can add them to your My Disney Experience account easily! All you need is the ticket ID number. While logged in to your account, choose the Tickets and Passes option in the mobile app. Select the + located at the top right corner of the screen. This will give you a Link Tickets & Passes option. Select this and follow the remaining prompts to complete this process in moments. You can also complete this process online under the Tickets & Memory Maker tab. Choose the blue
Add More Plans tile to add the tickets to your account.
After you have linked your ticket, you will also need to make a
Park Pass reservation. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Some dates are fully reserved well in advance, so be sure to make your reservations as soon as you confirm your travel dates!
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
