I have a ticket I would like to give to my friend for our Disneyland trip but when I purchased it I used another name. Am I able to give her the bar code and she can change the name on the ticket?

Hey there, Amy! From one Oregonian to another, welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us. It won't be long until you will be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the distance, so let's make sure you're all set.

How wonderful of you to gift your friend with a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort. It sounds like it's going to be the best day ever! No worries about your friend's name not being on the ticket. When the ticket is scanned for entry, the Cast Member will take a picture of your friend which will then be used as the ticket holder's identification throughout its use. I've purchased many tickets for my husband and have forgotten to change the name to his and we've never had an issue with this. However, if you and your friend would feel more comfortable having the name on the ticket match, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the phone line for Tickets for help with changing the name.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will be in full swing for your visit. Nothing gets me in a spooky mood more than wandering around the resort and taking in all of the fall decorations. There's nothing better than seeing the giant Mickey pumpkin greet you in Town Square when you walk into Disneyland Park. Be sure to make a pit stop in "Radiator Screams" to check out the spooktacular decorations - this is my favorite place in the park to peep some spooky décor. I'm also really looking forward to sinking my teeth into so many frighteningly fantastic seasonal eats and treats

Well, Amy, I hope this is helpful as you are preparing for your magical visit. Please come back to visit us if there's anything else that you might be curious about. Here's wishing you a ghoulishly good time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
