What does a ticket into the a general park include? Do we need the park hopper pass to go to parks that are not a water park?

Your theme park admission tickets allow you entrance into one of the four major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot or Hollywood Studios), Ashley.  Once you're inside the park, you are free to experience all the attractions, parades, and shows.  Not included with your theme park admission are any snacks/meals that you choose to enjoy, souvenirs, etc.  Occasionally, you might discover a special event or activity that is not included with your theme park admission, but, generally speaking, most of the attractions and entertainment inside the park are covered by your park admission.  The park hopper option can be added to your theme park tickets.  This option allows you the freedom to visit more than one of the major theme parks during a single day.  The park hopper does not allow you entry into the water parks; a separate ticket (or the water park and more option added to your base tickets) is required for that.  I hope that clears things up a bit!
