Hello there, Yumi! Thanks for bringing your ticket question to planDisney!
While life can get in the way and plans change, the answer to your question will vary depending on the type of expired
Disneyland theme park ticket you have. One-day tickets and multi-day tickets have different rules.
For a 1-day ticket, the Disneyland
eTicket Terms and Conditions state that "the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland® Resort Theme Park ticket, except for special event tickets, may be applied towards the purchase of a new Theme Park ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket." This means that an unused, 1-day ticket would be eligible to use toward the purchase of a new ticket. Please note that this information is subject to change without notice.
Multi-day tickets, however, must be used "within 13 days after first use or by the stated expiration date, whichever occurs first, and each day of use of a ticket constitutes one full day of use." So, Yumi, if you had a 3-day ticket and already used 2 of those days, then your ticket would, unfortunately, not be eligible toward the purchase of a new ticket.
Yumi, I recommend contacting the
Tickets line to speak to a Cast Member about your specific situation. If you are thinking of visiting the Disneyland Resort soon, I also suggest checking out the
2024 Disneyland Events Calendar on the
Disney Parks Blog. The
Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park is starting soon, and I think it is one event not to miss!
Please
drop back by with any other questions!
Happy planning,
Melissa
