Hi there, Israel, and welcome to planDisney!
I can't tell you how happy I am that you stopped by with your question because I get to share with you one of my favorite ticket options -
the Park Hopper ticket!
I live in Arizona so when my family and I visit the Disneyland Resort, we're looking for a lot of flexibility in our trip to be able to move around the resort however we'd like. This is where the Park Hopper comes in! With this option, you'll make a
theme park reservation for your starting park for each day of your trip - this is going to be the park that you'll start your day in and you can switch this up for each day of your trip. For example, if you're visiting for three days, you could make a reservation for
Disneyland Park on your first and third days, and a reservation for
Disney California Adventure Park for your second day.
With the Park Hopper option on your theme park tickets, you'll then be able to switch between parks as often as you'd like starting at 11:00 AM each day. Back to our example from above then, if I started in Disneyland Park on the first day of my trip, then starting at 11:00 AM I could hop over to Disney California Adventure Park for lunch and then hop back over to Disneyland Park at 12:30 PM for the afternoon and back over once more for California Adventure Park in the evening. I'm a huge fan of adding this option for the flexibility it adds to your trip!
You can add this on during your
theme park ticket purchase on the Disneyland website. It will offer it as an add-on option after you select the number of days and tickets. Just select the "Park Hopper" ticket type and then when you hit continue it will walk you through the theme park reservation process.
I hope that was helpful, Israel! Thanks again for your question. As you continue to solidify plans for your upcoming trip, please feel free to come back to visit us here at planDisney with any follow-up questions you think of. We'd love to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
