Hey there Amanda,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm happy to hear that you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Currently, to enter one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both valid
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit. Typically, the theme park tickets can be used at either Disney California Adventure Park or Disneyland Park (these are the two parks that make up the Disneyland Resort), but it's your theme park reservation that determines which park you'll be visiting.
Luckily, if you're using standard theme park tickets, you can select either park for your theme park reservation subject to availability. It sounds like you may have already made your theme park reservation for the day of your visit, so I would recommend verifying that it's been made on the
My Plans page of the Disneyland Resort website.
If you see on that page that your theme park reservation is set for the correct date then you should be all set!
Additionally, you could consider adding the
Park Hopper option to your ticket. With this option, your theme park reservation determines the park that you start your day in, but then beginning at 11:00 AM you can "hop" between both parks based on park capacity.
If you're still running into any issues as you continue to plan your visit or would like to add the Park Hopper option to your ticket then I would suggest
reaching out to a Cast Member at the Tickets line. They'll be able to see the details of your specific situation and help you with any lingering questions you might have. They're fantastic!
Thanks again for your question, Amanda, and enjoy your trip to the Disneyland Resort!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
