Hi Barbi,
Welcome to planDisney!
With your arrival date in April, you do need to get those
theme park tickets! The
Special Offers page always has the current special offers for
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, theme park tickets, and
vacation packages. Given that it looks like you are a Florida Resident, you may want to also consider purchasing an
Annual Pass. When my family became Disney Vacation Club members, we also became Annual Passholders because of the discount available to DVC members purchasing an annual pass. With an annual pass, just remember to check the
Blockout Date Calendar to make sure your annual pass allows admission on the dates you plan to visit.
Time is passing quickly, however, so I do encourage you to purchase theme park admission as soon as possible. Also pay close attention to the type of ticket and/or annual pass that you purchase. Some admission types may require
theme park reservations. As our girls got older, we started purchasing tickets with the
Park Hopper® Option because the girls could do more in a day. When they were little, we were just fine with the standard tickets that gave us access to one park per day.
Barbi, if you have not considered a resort hotel stay, I hope you do! We adore the Disney resorts and especially love staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa because those are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom and have access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. In the meantime, I trust that you will get those theme park tickets purchased!
Happy Planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
