How much is a ticket for 2days for 2 adults n a 6yr old chind

    Hi Brian. Welcome to planDisney!

There’s so much to explore at the Walt Disney World Resort! With four incredible theme parks, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom, plus two exciting water parks, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget about Disney Springs, the shopping, dining, and entertainment district that adds even more fun to your visit. To help Guests make the most of their vacation, Disney offers a variety of ticket types designed to suit every need and itinerary. Let me break down your options and help you find the best fit for visiting The Most Magical Place On Earth!

The cost of a 2-day ticket for two adults and a 6-year-old child can vary depending on a few factors, including the type of ticket you select. There are four main ticket types to choose from:

    • 1 Park Per Day Ticket: This ticket allows you to visit one theme park each day. It's a great option if you want to take your time and explore all that one park has to offer.
    • Water Park and Sports Option: This ticket gives you access to one theme park per day and lets you visit the water parks and other sports experiences, like mini-golf or the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. For every day that you purchase, you will get one “credit” to the extras, so in your case, if you were to buy a 2-day ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option, you’d get two “credits” or visits to the extras, in addition to, your visits to the parks.
    • Park Hopper Option: This ticket allows you to visit multiple theme parks on the same day. It’s perfect if you want the flexibility to switch between parks.
    • Park Hopper Plus Option: This option includes all the benefits of the Park Hopper, plus access to the water parks and other sports experiences.

Regardless of the ticket type you pick, the price will vary depending on the time of year and day of the week you’re visiting. To better answer your question, I pulled up the Theme Park Ticket website and played with the September 2024 calendar. For a standard 1 Park Per Day Ticket for two days, the cost for one adult varies between $115 and $151 per day, totaling around $250, and for a child (ages 3-9), the total starts at around $235. Remember that prices can change, especially during peak times, and these prices are per person before taxes.

I highly recommend considering the Park Hopper Option if you're looking for more flexibility. This allows you to start your day in one park and "hop" to another. My family and I love this option because it allows us to adjust our plans based on crowd sizes or catch the most nighttime spectaculars that appeal to us. Whether it’s Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom or Luminous – The Symphony of Us at EPCOT, hopping between parks can make your day even more magical!

I hope this helps you start planning your visit! Please let me know if you have any more questions or need further assistance.
