Jennifer from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have a ticket confirmation for 5 people, but when i go to cancel within the Disneyland app, I'm only able to cancel mine. The other tickets say "This ticket is not shared with you." How can I cancel 2 more of my family tickets?

    Hiya, Jennifer!

Yay for a big family visit to the Disneyland Resort! I’m happy you get the chance to visit The Happiest Place on Earth! I hope that by canceling theme park reservations you are simply getting set up for even bigger and more magical fun soon by using your theme park tickets to make replacement park reservations.

I think you may be seeing the same thing with theme park reservations that my wife and I see. I happened to purchase our daughter’s theme park ticket with my Disneyland Resort account. So when I visit "My Theme Park Reservations" I can see and cancel our daughter’s park reservation as expected. When my wife logs into her account which has most of the same tickets and Magic Key passes linked, she can see the reservations and cancel some of them, but she cannot cancel reservations for our daughter’s ticket.

Here’s what I think might be happening. When you tap on a theme park reservation in the “Future Plans” screen of the Disneyland mobile app, it will actually open up a web browser pointed to the "My Theme Park Reservations" page of the Disneyland Resort website. If I am logged into my account in the Disneyland app but my wife happens to be logged into her account in my phone’s web browser, then we end up not being able to see and cancel linked theme park reservations for tickets that aren’t “owned” by my wife’s account.

What I recommend trying is pointing your mobile web browser to the Disneyland Resort website and signing out. Then sign in again using the same account that was used to make the original ticket purchase. Then go to the “My Theme Park Reservations” page or tap on the reservations from the “Future Plans” screen of the app. If my guess is correct, I believe you just might be able to perform the park reservation actions you would like to do.

But what if Experiment 626 (A.K.A. Stitch) just keeps causing trouble? Well, if you are still experiencing issues with accessing your theme park tickets and theme park reservations, you might try clearing all the web browser website data/cached data and then try the operation again. If all else fails, you may reach out to a friendly Cast Member with the Tickets team or the Website Support phone line. Or you can also initiate a chat with a Cast Member within the Disneyland app.

I hope that helps get you one step closer to your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Jennifer. Please feel free to visit us at planDisney again if you would like to submit a follow-up question or ask about anything else related to the Disneyland Resort or other Disney Parks.

    See ya real soon!
