Jambo, Sara, and welcome back to planDisney!
I'm thrilled to assist you embark on a day filled with two of my very favorite parts of Walt Disney World Resort: Disney's Animal Theme Park and the Walt Disney World Resort Monorail!
A day in Disney's Animal Kingdom is sure to be a
wild time, Sara. Whether you are
soaring on the back of a banshee in Pandora - The World of Avatar,
narrowly evading a Yeti in Asia, spotting giraffes on a
safari in Africa, or simply enjoying your favorite Mickey-shaped snack in front of the Tree of Life, there's always something worth
roaring about!
Happily, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets permit Guests to leave and reenter theme parks throughout the day, pending capacity, so you'll be free to exit Disney's Animal Kingdom in order to explore other parts of The Most Magical Place on Earth. Want to know the best part?
Walt Disney World Resort's complimentary transportation will make getting to the
Monorail a breeze! You can simply hop aboard a bus at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park that is bound for either Magic Kingdom Park or one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels located along the Resort Monorail Loop (
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa). Upon arrival at your destination, you can make your way to the monorail platform and enjoy a ride (or two or three) around Seven Seas Lagoon.
I'd be remiss if I didn't share that the Disney Resort hotels located along the monorail have some of my favorite theming and views, so I encourage you to do a bit of exploring if time allows. The tropical atmosphere of the Polynesian instantly transports me to an island paradise, and the views of Cinderella Castle from Disney's Contemporary Resort are simply magical!
I hope this information was helpful, Sara! If any additional questions arise as you continue to plan, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
