Hey there, Cody! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
The best way to purchase tickets is online through the
Disneyland Resort website or using the
Disneyland mobile app.
Each Guest needs both a valid
ticket AND
park reservation for each day of their visit.
On the Disneyland Resort website, you can go to Parks & Tickets,
Theme Park Tickets, and select the number of days and number of tickets. Then, you select if you’d like a One Park Per Day Ticket or Park Hopper Ticket. After that, you’ll be taken to the park reservation calendar to select the specific date(s), to secure your reservation along with your purchase.
A park reservation is tied to a ticket. If for any reason your plans change and you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so, and your ticket will remain associated with your account for future use. If you want to change your reservation to a different date, you first need to cancel and then select a new date.
I strongly recommend getting tickets and reservations in advance of your visit. Sometimes Guests wait until the day they arrive, which means you’re taking a risk that reservations may not be available that day. Whether booking at home or at the parks, all Guests and Cast Members are accessing the same, central
reservation system, which is why I suggest reserving from home in advance!
We just released the latest episode of the
planDisney Podcast, which is all about Disneyland Resort tips - have a listen or watch if you can!
I hope this is helpful. Please stop by if you have any more questions – we’re all EARS!
