Thx for the awesome answer abt WL!! Can you tell me the difference btwn the sleigh rides at WL and the campground? Do you have an idea of length of ride? We don't want to be just riding around in the dark, but we are looking to do something close to"h

    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks sooo much for your patience!  I honestly have never experienced either of these Holiday excursions, although they are both on my "to do" list!  I did a little research on my own and I thankfully am great friends with some of the most knowledgeable Disney folks around town.  The consensus on both rides seems to be the same from everyone that I have spoken to....the Wilderness Lodge Sleigh ride is extremely romantic and the Fort Wilderness carriage ride is extremely entertaining!

Departing from the Wilderness Lodge, a sleigh drawn by horses departs for a 25 minute ride through the woods.  Very quiet and romantic, but not a lot to look at.  On the other hand, the whole family can jump in a horse drawn carriage and for 25-30 minutes, the driver will wind his way through the decorated camp sites.  Some of the campers go all out and according to my friend, Kay, one gentleman even had Wishes playing on a giant inflatable screen!

No matter what you choose, I think that both are ideal for putting you in the Holiday spirit!!!

    Much pixie dust,
