throwing together a last minute trip. Our family has been multiple times, but due to the last minute planning having trouble getting any dining reservations. I noticed that the Be our Guest restaurant is quick service, are reservations needed for lunch?

    Hi Michaela!

While I love having plenty of time to plan my Disney vacations, there's a certain thrill about a last-minute getaway. In fact, I just did one a few months ago with my family and it was one of our favorite vacations ever. (Now that I think about it...I end up saying that about every Disney vacation!)

I'm glad to hear that you're keeping the new Be Our Guest restaurant on your radar. For lunch, it's a quick service restaurant (so no reservations are accepted), but for dinner it's a table service restaurant (with reservations being a necessity).

Because this restaurant is only about 6-months old, it's still on everyone's must-do list. If you'd like to give it a whirl for lunch, (which I hope you will) plan to arrive at around 10:30 and you should beat the rush. If that's too early, you'll be fine but the wait will be a bit longer.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

If you're having trouble scoring dining reservations right now, keep trying as often as possible before you leave. Cancellations happen all the time and you might get lucky.

Here's a bonus tip from your buddy Derek:

Many of the table service restaurants save room for walk-ups each day. So, stop by your desired restaurant as early as possible (or right as they open their doors) and see if you can snag a table.

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions, please feel free to send them my way. Otherwise, I hope you have an awesome vacation!

    Best regards,
    Derek
