So thrilled to be back in Nov '12! Staying at Swan with ages 6,4,1 and would like to reserve char dining at close by resorts and/or in parks. Don't want the trouble of resort to resort travel as in past, due to ages of kids. Suggestions much appreciated!!!

    Hi Lauren!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

There is a Disney Character Dining Experience right there at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.  However, it is not my favorite.  I suggest the following ones that are close by:
    • Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club
    • Dinner at the Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Epcot
    • Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot
Not near by, but still easy to get to since they are in resorts or on the Magic Kingdom monorail line are:
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort (Magic Kingdom Monorail Line)
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian (Magic Kingdom Monorail Line)
    • Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom
    • Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom
    • Breakfast at Ohana in the Polynesian (Magic Kingdom Monorail Line)

Another nice Disney Character Experience is Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  I have two boys, ages 12 and 7, and their favorites are Ohana, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, and Cape May Cafe.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
