We are THRILLED to announce that we have booked our first cruise aboard the Disney Magic for March 2012, and once we hit the one year mark we will be scheduling our on board WEDDING! My question is Will we be able to access the internet from our stateroom?

    Hi, Cal!

Congratulations all the way around -- for booking your first cruise with Disney Cruise Line (DCL) and for your upcoming wedding! Oh, I can just imagine how beautiful that will be...I am so happy for you!

Now for more practical matters, you can access all the information about Internet and Cellular Service aboard the Disney Magic (and Wonder) -- just click on the link I've provided. Guests with wireless-ready laptops can find several wireless "hot spots" on the ships, including most of the public areas -- such as Beat Street (Disney Magic), Promenade Lounge, Studio Sea, Cove Café and all open areas on decks nine and 10.

Rates for wireless access start at $.75 per minute, but minutes can be bundled in increments of 100- and 250-minutes at $55 and $100 respectively. Guests not traveling with laptops can use existing internet cafés located in the Promenade Lounge, Cove Café, and Stack (Disney Magic).  Internet plans can be used interchangeably on laptops and desktops throughout the ship. Yet, plans cannot be upgraded once purchased, and credit can't be issued for unused plan minutes.

Unfortunately, there isn't internet access from staterooms at this time, but I would keep checking on the possibility by the time you travel. Congratulations again and best wishes!

Have a wonderful day, a beautiful wedding and a magical vacation. Bon voyage and keep in touch!
