Welcome aboard, Apiphany!
Planning your Disney Cruise Line voyage is very exciting, especially if you are bringing along the little ones. I love seeing the children's facial expressions as they discover the exciting themed spaces at the Youth Clubs. And have you noticed how their faces light up whenever they see their favorite Disney characters? The Princesses are mesmerizing, and seeing little toddlers just stare in amazement is so precious - what an awesome time to be capturing these magical moments with your family!
Kids at the
Oceaneer Lab/Club, beginning at 3 years old, must be fully potty trained to be able to participate in the clubs' activities on their own. The Youth Counselors are not allowed at all to bring them to the rest rooms, so they must be self sufficient to be left there to play. If you intend to leave your child at the club and you think he might still need help to go to the potty, then, you might want to consider reserving time at the Nursery instead. The ratio of kids to Youth Counselors at the Nursery will be smaller, so the Youth Counselors will also be able to make them more comfortable while you leave them there to play. If you think he will be just fine with pull ups on at the Oceaneer Club, you will still need to check in on him throughout his time there. I'm hoping that he becomes fully potty trained by the time you set sail, Apiphany. Maybe there's still time to train? Hopefully, the stars will align and it'll just happen and you won't have to worry about anything... hopefully. Good luck with the potty training.
Wishing you a magical voyage with Captain Mickey!
