We have a three year old boy and are trying to plan our trip and cant decide between Beach Club, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and Contemporary. Which one do you think he would like the best?

    Hi Amy,

You have a pretty tough decision to make!  You have selected some of Disney's best Deluxe Resorts.  All of them have well-themed pools with slides, fabulous restaurants, and spacious, well-appointed rooms  (I told you it was a difficult choice!)  Here are some thoughts to help you narrow down your decision:

    • The Polynesian and Contemporary are both on the monorail line.  This perk comes in super handy for families who are planning to spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  With a three year old, I'm guessing that the Magic Kingdom features many of your son's soon-to-be favorite Disney attractions.  You don't need to fold strollers to board the monorails, which is a perk when you have a sleeping passenger in tow!
    • The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort, fashioned after some of America's finest national parks. (There's even a mini "Old Faithful Geyser".)  The pools are lovely, and the Magic Kingdom is a short boat ride away.  This resort also has a ferry to Fort Wilderness Campground (and offers easy access to all the wonderful activities and dinner shows it offers, including the nightly campfire with Chip n' Dale, Hoop de Do Review and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.)
    • The Beach Club has, what I believe is the best pool at Disney (Stormalong Bay), and a fantastic location.  This resort is within walking distance of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.  By staying here, you'll be able to enter Epcot via the park's much less crowded International Gateway entrance.  In addition, the resort is located in the Boardwalk area, which is filled with wonderful dining and entertainment options for your Disney evenings.

If I absolutely had to pick, I'd vote for the Beach Club, because my kids are part fish, and partial to super cool pools!  It's location is also among our favorites.

Whatever you chose, have a magical trip!
