Three people staying at accessible 2 Queen AKL Jambo. Is it possible to request roll in cot or sleeper reclining chair for handicapped guest instead of sharing a bed?

Hello Dino! Thanks for coming back to planDisney with your important planning question! I’m happy to help! First, congratulations on selecting a fantastic resort! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas – Jambo House is such a great place to stay when visiting the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort!

Guests are welcome to request a cot/rollaway bed for their Guest room at Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis. I recommend reaching out to Animal Kingdom Lodge in advance of your arrival to make your request. I also recommend reminding the front desk of your request upon checking in. It is important to note that the addition of a cot/rollaway bed can’t exceed the maximum room occupancy allowed for that particular Guest room.

Dino, please note that if you have reserved either a studio or deluxe studio, your accommodations include a sleeper sofa in addition to a queen bed and a pull-down bed. Perhaps that will factor into your decision about needing an additional bed.

While visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge, be sure to enjoy some of the dining options available at the resort! At the top of my list are Boma – Flavors of Africa (available for breakfast and dinner) and Sanaa (available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner)!

    Dreams do come true!
