Hi there Kathryn, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for asking your question about the
Disney Dining Plan, Guests are so excited that it has returned!
I have great news, I spoke with
DVC Member Services and they confirmed that yes, Guests staying onsite can add the Disney Dining Plan to a reservation even if they do not plan to visit the theme parks. This goes for both the
Disney Dining Plan and the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.
There are so many fantastic dining options outside the theme parks, I'm getting hungry just thinking about the many restaurants my family loves to visit!
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera is at the top of our list; we love it when we can dine just before
EPCOT's nighttime spectacular,
Luminous The Symphony of Us begins. Guests can have an even more incredible experience by stepping onto the rooftop balcony and watching the fireworks light up the sky to the wonderful music piped in. Another one of our favorite restaurants is
Sanaa, located in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. Here you can taste African cooking with Indian flavors while watching the animals on the savanna. I have to say, you cannot go wrong by ordering the bread service!
Another fantastic dining area is found over at
Disney Springs. It's home to more than 60 different restaurants that offer everything from a customized pizza from
Blaze Fast-Fired'd Pizza, to the finest in Pan-Asian cuisine from
Morimoto Asia, to the comfort food inspired by Florida agriculture from
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. No matter where you decide to dine with your Disney Dining Plan, you're sure to come away with a full belly and a smile on your face!
I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Kathryn. If you have any other questions, please visit
planDisney again!
Bon appétit,
Candace
