Jennifer from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have three Magic bands sent to me from a cancelled vacation due to Covid but I am using them next week for my Disney trip. Only one of the three bands are linked and the other two say will call tickets. How do I get the last two linked ?

    Hi, Jennifer!  Welcome to planDisney!

What did we ever do without MagicBands?  Wearing your MagicBand allows you to unlock your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room, access your theme park admission, and connect your Disney PhotoPass Service pictures to your My Disney Experience account.  During your resort hotel stay, you can even use your MagicBand to charge purchases to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room.  I love that you can do all of this without ever having to fumble through your bag or wallet.  It's all right there on your wrist!

Jennifer, I'm sorry to hEAR that you had to postpone your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, but it's great news that you will be returning to the magic next week!  If the same three Guests who were on your original reservation are traveling next week, you'll have no problem using those MagicBands from your canceled trip.  Guests can collect multiple MagicBands and reuse them until the batteries run out.  However, you cannot transfer a MagicBand from one Guest's My Disney Experience profile to another.

MagicBands are not linked to your theme park tickets themselves, instead, MagicBands are linked to your My Disney Experience profile and can access all of the information in your My Disney Experience account.  So even if some of the Guests in your party have will-call tickets to pick up, you can still link their MagicBands to their My Disney Experience profiles.  You can do this using your My Disney Experience mobile app.

To see if your MagicBands are linked, open your app and click the three lines in the bottom right corner of the screen.  Next, scroll down to "My Profile."  Under "My Profile," click on "MagicBands & Cards."  There you can check to see the MagicBands assigned to everyone in your Family & Friends List or click on "Link a MagicBand or Card" to link a new band.  New MagicBands can be linked using the ID Code found on the back of the band.

I hope that this information clears up your question about your MagicBands.  If you are still having trouble getting things worked out, feel free to call the Help Center phone number for MagicBands.  A Cast Member can help you get things straightened out faster than you can say, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"

As you get ready for your trip, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog and keep an eye on the operational updates page on the Walt Disney World website for all of the latest information regarding the phased reopening process.  Don't hesitate to stop by planDisney again if you have any additional questions!

    See ya real soon!
