Hello! I have three kids who are celebrating their birthdays at WDW in August. The two girls turned 12, and 16. And my son turned 19. We were unable to visit on anyone of their birthdays and considering their age diference what should we do?

    Karen:

Because you have a wide range of teenagers to accommodate, and let's be honest, impress, I'd consider splurging on California Grill!  What a memory-maker!

Not only is the view spectacular no matter what the time of day y'all choose to celebrate, the menu says "I think you're special!"  Although many patrons like to be inside the restaurant when the Wishes fireworks show begins at the Magic Kingdom, I prefer the view from California Grill's outside viewing deck as the music is piped in there, also!

If you really want to knock their socks off, order a custom birthday cake from the Disney hotline at 407-827-2253.  You can choose from several sizes, cake flavors, fillings, icings, AND decorations.  With an 8" costing about $32 the last time I checked.  They'll walk you through it step-by-step!

    Wishing y'all a magical birthday!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
