Three generations going in late January. There will be lots of trips to parks and then passing off the 2.5 yr. old child while others head out. YC/BC close to Epcot, lots of eateries, very super pool. Poly/Contemporary....monorail!!! What do you think?

    Hello Susan,

There's nothing quite like a Disney vacation. But what I have found tops it all is a HUGE family trip to the happiest place on Earth! My family has traveled to Florida before with three generations. And we left with memories that will last a lifetime.

The Yacht and Beach Clubs are two of my favorite Resorts at Disney. But I'm not sure if I would suggest staying at either if you are visiting with your family. While the location of the Resorts is fantastic, sometimes the walking can be overwhelming, especially for older Guests. I know walking from the Yacht or Beach Club to the Boardwalk or to Epcot would be a lot for my Dad. And if he tires, he gets cranky and no one's happy!

This past summer, we traveled with my Dad and stayed at the Polynesian Resort. Having the convenience of the Monorail was wonderful for both my daughter and for my Dad. And having the Transportation and Ticket Center nearby made it simple to commute from Resort to Resort. And while it's not Stormalong Bay, the Nanea Volcano Pool at the Poly is pretty cool.

No matter where you choose, I know your family is going to have a fabulous time. Have fun!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
