Hi my three friends and I who will all be 18 at the time of the trip are finding it hard to choose a resort. We keep going back and forth from port Orleans French quarter, pop century, art of animation and carribean beach. We will be going march 2014. HELP

    Hi Samantha!

Disney's Resorts are so gorgeous and  have such wonderful themes, it can be one of the hardest decisions to make when planning your trip.Decide how much time you are going to be spending at your resort. If you are going to be spending time at your resort just to sleep, I suggest going with one of the resorts in the value category.Although I do highly suggest taking time out to explore any of Disney's Resorts, did I mention how gorgeous they are?

Pop Century and Art of Animation are my two favorites in Disney's Value category of resorts.Between the two I would suggest Disney's Art of Animation, this resort is bright and vibrant plus you have the benefit of having the largest pool on Disney property along with two other pools that are also lots of fun!  The Little Mermaid section offers standard rooms while the Cars, Lion King and Finding Nemo sections offers Family suites. The rooms are a bit smaller, 277 sq ft, than what you will find with resorts in the moderate category, but if you will not be at your resort all that often I think this would be a great option.

Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans French Quarter are both spectacular resorts and this can be a hard decision to make!  I personally like the intimate feel of the French Quarter, Caribbean Beach is very large and sprawling which means it might be a bit of a  walk to reach your room.Even if I am not staying at French Quarter, I always have to stop by Sassagoula Floatworks for some beignets. Plus you have the added benefit of reaching Downtown Disney by a relaxing boat ride down the Sassagoula River.

If you are hoping to snag a discount for your trip, both Port Orleans French Quarter and Art of Animation Little Mermaid rooms are rarely discounted and usually the discount is much less than resorts in the same category.I hope this helps and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!

    Happy Planning!
