Three of my family members want to go golfing while we are on vacation at Disney World. Disney World has four golf courses (Palm, Magnolia, Lake Buena Vista, and Oak Trail). Do golfers need a valid park pass on the day they want to golf?

    Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your Walt Disney World vacation planning question. My husband enjoys a round of golf while we are at Walt Disney World, and has played with other family members and friends.

I have good news for you, Michael. Since the Walt Disney World golf courses are not inside of the theme parks, you do not need theme park tickets nor a park reservation for the day that you wish to golf. Simply head to the Walt Disney World Golf website. You can make a tee time at any of the four courses online, and then you are ready for your day of golf!

If any of the other members of your traveling party, or the golfers after their experience on one of these amazing golf courses, are interested in some more whimsical golf experiences, Walt Disney World has two miniature golf locations! Check out Winter Summerland Miniature Golf to golf with Santa during summer or winter, or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf for a fantastical experience themed to the movie Fantasia.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Michael! Please do come back and visit us if you have any further questions.
