Hi there, Matt! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
In my opinion, photos make the best vacation souvenirs! I love looking through my photo albums from past
Walt Disney World Resort vacations and reliving all of those magical memories. I always recommend that Guests purchase
Memory Maker so that they will have unlimited downloads of their
Disney PhotoPass pictures.
One thing that makes Memory Maker such a great value is that when one Guest purchases Memory Maker, they can share it with up to 25 other friends and family members. In order to share your Memory Maker, you will want to make sure that everyone in your travel party is linked to your
My Disney Experience Family & Friends List. As long as a Guest is on your Family & Friends List and they have checked off the box that says they wish to share media, their Disney PhotoPass pictures will show up in your account. If some members of your travel party split up to explore different experiences or even different theme parks, when the Disney PhotoPass photographers scan their
MagicBand or admission card, those photos will still link back to your account.
It is important to note that the Disney PhotoPass pictures will only show up without the watermark in the My Disney Experience account of the person who purchased Memory Maker. That Guest will need to download all of the photos for the other members of their group. Don't forget to download all of your photos within 45 days because once they expire they can no longer be downloaded. During your visit, be sure to ask your Disney PhotoPass photographers if they have any
Magic Shots. You never know what kind of pixie-dusted surprises might show up in your photos!
Matt, if you have any additional questions as you get ready for your trip, please don't hesitate to ask. My fellow panelists and I want to help you have the most magical vacation ever! See ya real soon!
Samantha
