If you had three days to spend in Disney World with a 1 year old and it was your first trip, how would you plan your three days, or should i say what would you take in....

Hi Christina! Let's tackle the second part of your question first..what to take into the parks when traveling with an infant.  Best advice ever is to take as little as possible!  So many guests try to take everything except the kitchen sink and are bogged down trying to keep track of all their bags.  Take one extra outfit and of course enough diapers, bottle,s and food for the baby to last the time you will be in the parks. Don't forget that each park does have a Baby Center where you can purchase formula, food, diapers, etc if you should need more. Also take a wrap for the cooler parts of the day during certain months and sunscreen and a hat. A smaller stroller where the baby can nap is better then a cadillac monstrosity when trying to advance through the crowds.

Now to the three days. You will definitely want to hit the Magic Kingdom. Everyone should see this park on their first visit as it is so magical with the castle and the parades and it just represents Mickey Mouse!  You will be able to carry your daughter on many of the attractions but you will have to avoid the roller coasters on this trip unless you want to do the baby swap and each adult ride alone while the other watches the child. There are many great attractions in this park to enjoy.

For a second day I would head to Animal Kingdom as a one year old will love watching the animals and seeing the sites in this park.  Don't forget to take the trek to Rafiki's Planet Watch where you can actually get up close and personal with the local goats and sheep and some exotic animals. My granddaughter loved touching them!

Your third day could be spent heading back to the Magic Kingdom or trying out Epcot. Although many feel that Epcot is strictly for the older crowds my grandson loves this park. Imagination and The Seas With Nemo are his favorite and he just loves taking the Land ride over and over again.

Have a great time and enjoy your first visit!
