Can a three day ticket be changed to two days and refunded if not used yet?

Hey there, Kerry! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

You’re Walt Disney World Adventure will be here before you know it. What’s first on your itinerary? Are you going to go straight to the theme parks? Or maybe track down a delicious Mickey-shaped treat? Or maybe it’s a stop at Disney Springs? Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will be the perfect start to your magic-filled visit to the Vacation Kingdom.

While you can upgrade your tickets to include more days and options, Walt Disney World Tickets cannot be modified to have fewer days or be refunded. You can find more information in the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules or speak with a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line if you have specific questions about your tickets.

You do have some options, though. Depending on the type of ticket you’ve purchased, you could change the dates of your unused tickets for use at a later time on the My Reservation and Tickets page. It’s also important to remember that unused, expired tickets retain their value and can be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket (prices are subject to change). So you could save your current three-day tickets for a future visit and then buy two-day tickets for your upcoming trip to ensure you don’t lose a Disney day.

I hope this information was helpful, Kerry. Whether you visit for 2 or 3 days, I’m sure you’ll have an amazing vacation at Walt Disney World. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
