Welcome to planDisney, Candace! Your
Very Merrytime Cruise will be here before you know it!
On the 3-Night Bahamian Cruise on the
Disney Wish, there will be no formal night, but you will have
Pirate Night and Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party on the same night, Night 2 (subject to change). The other two nights are casual. The listing of
onboard activities will be available in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard and connected to the
DCL-GUEST wireless network. Other than the deck party, you will have the Tree Lighting Ceremony,
character meet and greets, and live shows like
Disney Seas the Adventure to look forward to. One feature of the app that I like is you can "favorite" activities so that you can get a 15-minute reminder notification so you can start making your way to the activity. Some activities are popular, so Guests may line up early.
Disney Cruise Line has great suggestions in its
packing list. If you plan on taking some photographs in front of the holiday backdrops, you may consider packing special holiday attire. If wearing your pirate best sounds like a better idea, then that is a great option too! If you think you will be bringing multiple drinks from the soda fountains on Deck 11 to your stateroom, I suggest packing a drink carrier to help carry the cups.
Per the
Disney Cruise Line Terms and Conditions, you are allowed to bring a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects, not to exceed 2 bags per person. There is no size limitation for checked luggage but carry-on bags must fit through the security scanner, no larger than 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. Within your carry-on bags, you will need to have your
travel documentation, prescription or needed medications, and other items you may need for the first few hours onboard until your checked luggage arrives at your stateroom.
Candace, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for help.
Happy Holidays!
