We have three daughters, ages 10, 9, and 5. We are planning a Xmas trep to Disney world. What would be best and most affordable place to stay inside the resort that would also be comfortable for everyone

My suggestion for your family would be the Fort Wilderness cabins, Karen.  It is categorized as one of Disney's moderate resorts, meaning it's not the least expensive, but not the most expensive either.  The cabins at Fort Wilderness would be ideal for your family because they offer a separate sleeping area so that mom and dad can relax and unwind a bit after putting the kids to bed.  So, too, do the cabins offer a full kitchen, which makes preparing a hearty, healthy breakfast a possibility.  My favorite thing about the cabins, though, is that Fort Wilderness campers go all out during the holiday season, decorating their campsites with elaborate displays of lights and inflatables.  Your girls will absolutely love walking the loops and paths and discovering a new display at every turn.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
