I have three children 7 years old and under. I love the Beach Club Villas but they are booked. I am torn between the Boardwalk Villas, Wilderness Lodge and Saratoga Springs. We are DVC members and I do not know that would be the best next choice.

    Hi Jennifer!

We are Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members as well!  If your heart was set on the Beach Club, I'd suggest the Boardwalk as your next choice.  We've stayed at all of the properties you mentioned, and think each is unique and fabulous. However, the Boardwalk Villas share many similarities with the Beach Club that your family might enjoy.

First, the Boardwalk shares the same amazing location as the Beach Club in the Epcot  Resort Area.  You will be able to walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios (or take a quick boat ride to either property).  You'll enter Epcot via a very convenient (an much less crowded) International Gateway Entrance.  This is a huge perk, in my opinion.  You can also walk to, and enjoy the Swan and Dolphin hotels by staying at the Boardwalk.  Fantasia mini golf course is located on their grounds, and is a great way to spend an evening.  Both the Swan and Dolphin have some outstanding restaurants.

Next, the Boardwalk and Beach club both offer the same wonderful access to great dining and entertainment options.  (You're even closer at the Boardwalk Villas).  Your family can rent surrey bicycles, watch the "street"performers and check out the vendors each evening by simply strolling outside your villa.

The theming of both resorts is quite similar in my opinion. The "clown pool" at the Boardwalk is a huge hit with kids.

Wilderness Lodge and Saratoga are also excellent choice, but Boardwalk is most similar to the Beach Club.  Have a great trip!
