    I have three children (5, 3, & six months old at the time of the trip). To make the trip optimal for my older two who are old enough to enjoy every aspect, should my baby stay with grandma or come with us? I would miss her a lot, but want what's best

    Hi Stacie,

    You'll probably get a different answer depending on who you ask this question, but I lean toward suggesting you take your youngest child with you on this family vacation.  While she won't remember this trip, I promise that you will remember it forever.  Just think of the beautiful family photographs you can take of your entire clan in front of Cinderella Castle.  The Disney characters are actually quite good about interacting with children of all ages, even the smallest ones.  Those interactions might generate some truly priceless photographs too. 

    Chances are, your five- and three-year-olds would benefit from a mid-day break from the parks too so having your daughter along might be more convenient than you think.  Just be sure to bring a stroller or two to make transporting your kids around Disney property easier.

    I suppose the one thing that might change my suggestion would be if your infant daughter is not a good sleeper at night.  If she cries through the night and you are all sharing a hotel room, that might lead to some long cranky days in the parks, for your older children and perhaps for you too.  If she is not yet a good nighttime sleeper, then you may want to plan for her to stay with Grandma this time.
