I have three children with peanut and tree nut allergies and I am concerned about the meals and snacks. How do I find out what meals and snacks are safe, they cannot have items processed in a peanut/tree nut facility or that may contain peanut/tree nuts

My husband has a tree nut allergy so I have the same worries when we travel.  Disney does a wonderful job when it comes to taking care of folks with food allergies.  They will tell you what has been made with nuts and what has been made on equipment that may have come into contact with nuts.  I was just recently talking with a waitress at Hollywood and Vine about this topic.  She mentioned how they make all their bread products fresh on premise to ensure that they don't come into contact with any nuts.  She did mention how some of their pastries were made outside of the restaurant and that they warn all guests with food allergies to steer clear of them.  They will give you an ingredient list for all food served upon request.

All you will need to do is tell the person taking your food order that your children have both a peanut and a tree nut allergy.  You should also make mention of it when making advance dining reservations.  The chefs at the restaurants will make sure that your children have meals that they enjoy and that will be safe for them.
