Hey there Madison,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort.
Currently, to enter one of the parks of the Happiest Place on Earth, you need both valid theme park tickets and a theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit. Ticket prices are subject to change and depend on whether you plan to visit for 1-day or multiple days.
The 1-day tickets utilize a
tiered-pricing system depending on the date of the visit whereas multi-day tickets have a different price for each additional day you decide to visit. From my experience visiting the parks, you'll find the best value with the multi-day tickets. You can find the current pricing for tickets on the
theme park ticket purchase page, and during the purchase process you'll also be able to make your
theme park reservations as well.
There are two additional ticket options that I typically add on when I visit as well - the
Park Hopper option and
Disney Genie+ Service. With the Park Hopper option, you'll make a theme park reservation for the park you'll begin your day at, but then starting at 11:00 AM you'll be able to hop between both parks throughout the rest of the day. Disney Genie+ Service offers a few perks including the ability to make
Lightning Lane return time selections for shorter wait times on some of the most popular attractions and unlimited digital downloads of your
Disney PhotoPass photos taken during your trip.
Finally, keep in mind that there are also
special offers available throughout the year! Make sure to check those out to see if any fit for your trip.
Thanks again for your question, Madison! Enjoy your next visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
