Hey there, Diego, and welcome to planDIsney! Purchasing tickets can only mean one thing: A Walt Disney World vacation is in your future! Can you feel yourself getting excited?
Diego, when you purchase tickets online, you will receive a confirmation number and barcode by email that can be used to link your Theme Park tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. However, this confirmation number doe not constitute your physical Theme Park ticket card number. You’ll want to make sure your tickets are properly linked to your account so that you can book your
Theme Park Reservations. If you need some recommendations on which Theme Parks to visit, I recommend placing
EPCOT at the top of your list! Not only can you fill your belly with delicious cuisine from around the world, but you also get the opportunity to board Disney Worlds’ newest attraction:
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. I enjoyed this attraction so much that I moved one of my subsequent Theme Park reservations to EPCOT to ride it again! Keep in mind that Walt Disney World Guests currently need valid Theme Park Tickets and a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the Theme Parks each day.
Diego, you actually do not need physical ticket cards to access the Theme Parks. If your tickets are properly linked to your
My Disney Experience mobile app, you can use a
MagicBand or
Disney’s MagicMobile Pass to gain entry into the parks. While MagicBands are my preferred option (I’m holding on to nostalgia here), Disney’s MagicMobile Pass is by far the most convenient option because most of us already have our cell phones in the palm of our hand anyway.
I hope this helps and that I’ve answered your question, Diego! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
PG
