    Hi Moms! What are your thoughts on the Royal Guest rooms at Port Orleans - Riverside. Too princessy for our two boys (ages 9 and 6)?

    Hi Kristi!

    This is a difficult question and highly guest dependent. However, I thought I would write to give you the perspective of my family. My wife and I absolutely love these special rooms and think they are well worth the money for the extra atmosphere. However, my two boys, ages 13 and 8, would very much disagree. They don't dislike the room; they just wouldn't say it is anything that special. 

    That said, however, they absolutely love the pirate themed rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort and they absolutely love the new Art of Animation Resort. 

    So my advice is, if you are doing it for you then absolutely stay there. If you are doing it for your boys then you might reconsider. I hope this helps. Good luck with your decision!
