    I thought I saw a post about "allowances" on magic bands but now I can't find it. Is it true that you can set up a charging limit? I'd love to hear how this works. Thanks so much- I so rarely have space left to say a proper thanks! You are so

    I am honored to be able to assist you further with your Walt Disney World vacation planning.  Thank you for the kind words, but really, our wonderful guests, such as yourself, deserve the gratitude and appreciation -- so, thank you!  

    You are correct and you will have the option to set a spending limit on your MagicBand.  When we checked into our resort on our last vacation, we decided to let my son have an allowance on his.  The Cast Member simply asked what we would like the limit to be and then, let my son pick a unique PIN number, different from ours and easy for him to remember.  Once he hit his spending limit, his MagicBand would simply no longer have the ability to make purchases.  Using this feature, is a great way to give your kids a bit of freedom or to easily stay on budget.
