Hi Erika!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It appEARs that you have an incredible Disney Cruise Line vacation booked for early 2020 and I know you must be so excited!
Disney Cruise Line’s
rotational dining system is one of my favorite things! It takes away all the decision making and gives you the opportunity to experience all the onboard dining rooms and unique menus during your time onboard! Plus, it’s so nice to have your same exceptional dining room servers move with you from restaurant to restaurant each night! The Dine and Play program is offered for Guests who have the second seating for dinner and there is nothing that you need to do to sign up for this. For Guests who have the second seating, your dining room servers will make sure to get the littles fed first and then some of the Youth Counselors will come around the restaurants to gather those kiddos that want to head to the
Oceaneer Club and Lab to start their evening of fun!
My family always opts for main dining (first seating) because it just always works better with our kiddos schedule, but we will often let them eat and then one of us will walk them to the Oceaneer Club or Lab to check them in before coming back for the rest of our meal. You can even look over the nightly menu on the
Navigator app before coming to dinner, so you’ll be ready to place their order as soon as you are seated! This has worked great for our family so if you happen to have main dining, this is a great alternative!
As you continue planning for your adventure at sea, please come back with any other questions you may have!
