I just thought of another question. Do you know which snacks are most value for money in the parks? I'd like to et the most from our dining plan and hate to get a banana instead of a more expensive snack. Are there any lists anywhere with prices?

    Hello, Judith,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about the Disney Dining Plan (DDP).  We, too, try to make the most of our dollar when on the DDP. Prior to our trips, I always do a little research on current snacks.  My first stop is the independent website AllEars.net to look over current DDP snacks.  To do this, pull down the items under Walt Disney World then Dining then Menus. Here you will find a list of nearly all of the menus at Walt Disney World and what items qualify as snacks (look for the purple/white square).  You'll get a quick idea of what are good investments and what aren't after looking these over. For example, the Charcuterie and Cheese Plate at Disney's Hollywood Studios' Writer's Stop is a great deal since it currently costs $7.49 compared to a cup of coffee which costs $2.49 (prices subject to change).  I'd pay for the coffee out of pocket and use my snack credit for the Charcuterie and Cheese Plate.

You may also want to do an internet search for Best Snacks on Disney Dining Plan.  There are many articles out there that also explore other guests' thoughts and experiences trying to make the most of the Disney Dining Plan.  I think you'll be happy to discover how many snacks are available that are a good investment!

If you have any further Walt Disney World questions, please let us know. We are happy to help!
