Thought I had a plan, but now not sure! Which do you think is best? 11/10-11/21 or 11/6-11/18. Liked arriving on weekend, but worried about crowds. Also, if we come earlier, the kids will miss another day of school. Any help with itinerary too please! TIA!

Arriving at Walt Disney World around Thanksgiving is going to be so wonderful for you and the family. With two little girls in elementary school, I understand your situation. I would think that a discussion with your child's teacher will help make sure that anytime missed from class instruction can be remedied without any loss in school. With that in mind I favor November 10-21, as it will be closer to the Holidays which is when the parks and resorts look the most spectacular. As for where to go, you must start with the Magic Kingdom. Only in the Magic Kingdom can you pay a visit to the home of the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse. Head on over to Main Street U.S.A., hop on one of the great classic antique motor vehicles, I prefer the Fire Engine, and head over to the Town Square Theater. Inside you and the family can get a picture, an autograph and even a big hug from the Mouse that started it all. From there you can create your own magical adventure at the Happiest Place on Earth.
