I thought a Disney Cruise ship leaves from New York now I'm trying to plan a cruise but would love to leave from New York?

    Ahoy, Donna!
I'm happy to hear you're in the planning stages of a Disney Cruise Line vacation. There are so many fabulous departure ports and itineraries to choose from, sometimes it can be tough to choose just one!

In 2012, the Disney Magic was based in New York from June to September. While those sailings were very popular, there are no cruises currently scheduled to sail from New York through December of 2015. Since it was a popular departure port, there's always the chance that DCL could announce future sailings from the Big Apple!

The best way to keep up with the most current information and announcements from Disney Cruise Line is to follow them on their social media outlets. The Disney Cruise Line page on the Disney Parks Blog is a great source of information for the latest news. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

If you just can't wait that long to cruise with Captain Mickey, I encourage you to check out all the other great departure ports on Disney Cruise Line's official website.

Please come back and visit as you plan your magical vacation - we're happy to help! - Diane W.
