Denise from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I thought you could book hotels 120 days out but there is no availability after 3/18/25. Why is this?

Hi there, Denise! Welcome to planDisney! Get those Mickey ears ready, because your Disneyland Resort adventure is just around the riverbend—only a couple of months away! It's so exciting, the magic will be here before you know it! I'm absolutely thrilled you stopped by with your question.

You're correct in that hotel rooms generally become available for booking at least 120 days in advance. I consulted my own enchanted storybook (which just so happens to be the Disneyland Resort Hotels page), and the pages revealed availability shining brightly all the way through early January 2026! I even turned to the chapter with your arrival date, and availability appeared, ready for your magical story to begin!

Let's put on our detective hats like Chip ‘n’ Dale to see if we can figure out what’s going on here. Sometimes, even the best of us (myself included!) can have a little Goofy moment and enter dates in a way that would make even a Mad Hatter's tea party seem organized. Are you sure you've got those dates lined up correctly? Sometimes the arrival date sneaks into the departure date's spot, or we accidentally pick the wrong year (it happens—time flies when you're dreaming of Disney!). Remember, reservations can be a maximum of 30 days in length—perfect for not overstaying your welcome with the Evil Queen! You’ll want to double-check that the check-in and check-out dates are in the correct boxes. Sometimes they like to play a little game of musical chairs, and if they're swapped, the website might not show you what you're looking for!

If all else fails, Denise, and the dates are still playing hide-and-seek, don't you worry! You can always give the hotel reservations line a call. A friendly Cast Member will be delighted to wave their magic wand and help you out. They're fantastic at making Disney dreams come true, one reservation at a time!

Since we're working on getting those dates to cooperate, let's move on to the really fun part—choosing your home away from home! Have you been dreaming of the Disneyland Hotel, with its nostalgic charm and touch of classic Disney magic? Or perhaps the luxurious comfort and craftsman-style elegance of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has caught your eye? And then there's the delightful Pixar Place Hotel, bursting with playful design and the whimsical spirit of your favorite Pixar pals! Which one will be the backdrop for your magical adventure?

No matter which hotel you choose, Denise, we just can't wait to say "Welcome home!". And please, don't hesitate to reach out to us here at planDisney with any further questions you may have as your trip approaches. We're always happy to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your planning!
