I thought that when an adult signed up for a Disney cruise that kids sailed free. The cost for my 14 year old daughter is as much as the price for my cruise.

Hi Mary Helen,   I believe that at one time Disney may have had the "kids sail free" offer, but it was for a limited time, on limited sailings.  That being said, from my experience, Disney Cruise Line is excellent with their pricing.  You just have to keep your eyes peeled for special offers throughout the year.  Please don't hesitate to contact the cruise line and ask questions.  Most times they will know in advance when a special is coming up.  This way (if it fits into your schedule) you can make plans to take advantage of it.   I know that Disney cruises can be pricey.  I've been on three Disney cruises and my trick is to book AT LEAST one year in advance.  I booked my last one 1 1/2 years in advance!   The prices are usually lower that far ahead of the sailing date and it's very convenient because you have up to 90 days before you leave to pay for your entire trip.  That means you can make payments throughout the year according to your budget.  I hope you are able to take your Disney cruise.  For me, no other cruise line can compete with it!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
