Thnx for all of ur previous help planning my last WDW vac! Coming in Sept this yr & wanted to know if there are any other ways to view the inside of the castle without spending extra $? Last visit we just walked thru! THANKS!!

Hi Michelle!  The Magic Kingdom castle is indeed magical and a draw to all visitors!  Unfortunately, it is also a place where most guests cannot get inside to enjoy.  If you have Advanced Reservations for dining you will check in at the podium just outside the doors.  The cast members there will only allow those guests who have reservations inside to enjoy the first waiting room and then upstairs where the dining room is located. It is well "guarded" for the enjoyment of the dining guests only.

There is an apartment upstairs but that is completely off limits to park guests. It was used as a special promotion a couple of years ago when it was the Year of a Million Dreams. One family each day was completely surprised with an overnight stay.  Something similar could be in the works for the future but again it would be strictly by chance and we have not heard of anything at this time!
