Thnks Diane. Thinkng Boma as 1 of my last 2 picks. Will have shakes @ 50s. Won't do Beirgarten b/c of the cuisine. You like CP-more than CM?, and why? 2nd trip-only rest we went to was Sci-fi(neat). Would you have B,L orD at CPalace? Thank you so much!

    Hi Liza,

Decisions, decisions - sounds like you're narrowing down your choices and you'll be having a delicious vacation!

I like both Chef Mickey's AND Crystal Palace.  It really depends on which characters you want to see more.  If your family wants to dine with Mickey and all his friends, Chef Mickey's is the place to be!  Winnie the Pooh and his friends are found at Crystal Palace.  My preference may tend to lean toward Crystal Palace simply because you don't have to leave the park.

Although the lunch/dinner buffet is great at CP, I'm a big fan of the character breakfast.  The selection is huge.  You can also get omelets made to order or even Mickey pancakes with chocolate chips.  We either make the really early reservations so that we're done eating as the park opens, or we make a late breakfast reservation.  If we do the later reservation, I give my kids a granola bar or use a snack credit to buy a muffin or something to stave off hunger.  We head to the park early and enjoy several attractions before breakfast.  After filling up at Crystal Palace for a late breakfast, we usually don't need to eat again until dinner.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
