hi! Third trip and it's my first time at CRT. If I do my reservation at 6h30, do I'll be ok for the electrical parade at 8h00? Can we exit the castle from the front entrance to sit just in front or it'll be close and we'll have to get around? thanx

    Sophie:

I wouldn't make your dining reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table that close to the Electrical Light Parade at the Magic Kingdom. For one, I always recommend giving yourself about an hour and a half for all table service dining from podium check-in to picking up the check. This rule of thumb is especially true for a restaurant like CRT that is also not a buffet where you are in charge of the timing of your meal. On at least one occasion our family had a wait for the restaurant that was well over 20 minutes. And also because, as you guessed, you won't be able to simply walk through the front doors of the castle to see the parade, you'll need to allow yourself at least another 15 minutes to find a spot, albeit probably a very crowded one that close to parade time.

If I were in your shoes, I would look at reservation that was closer to 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. at the latest. You don't want to ruin your meal with heartburn over whether or not you'll miss the parade.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
